
Background
Ruben Love is a New Zealand professional rugby union fly-half and fullback known for his versatility and dynamic playing style. Born in Wellington, he began his professional career with the NPC side in 2020 and joined the Hurricanes in 2021. Love is regarded as a hugely promising athlete, adept at both first five-eighths and fullback positions. He made his New Zealand debut in 2024 against Japan, scoring twice in his first appearance. Love has recommitted to the Hurricanes and New Zealand Rugby through to the end of 2028.
